Hey all!
Next monday for college I have to present a pitch of an idea for a 3-4min radio package! It must include 4 interviews which will be fun! :)
Now i've spent all afternoon thinking what I can do for it and just now, while talking to Ian Pinnell, I have come up with the idea of Internet Radio focusing on the topic: Is there a market for Internet Radio.
Not sure about interviews yet but one will be someone from Off The Chart Radio, most likely to be Ian Pinnell. lol. I could contact some of my regular listeners and see if I can get a wee phone interview with them. These two people say yes there is a market so i'll need to look hard to find 2 people who would say no. There are a lot of private internet radio stations out there so it might be interessting to contact the manger of one of them.
Anyway i'll think more into this idea and let you know what happens!

Music Production Class
Hello again readers,
Today was a great day in college! Why do you ask? well...we started the Music Production class today!
I'll skip all the details as they will bore you but the main thing I wanted to share you with you is my idea for a one hour long radio show that we have to do ourselfs. The radio show has to have a point to it and a style that will be pitched to Conor (tutor) before we go ahead.
I am thinking about doing an hours show about Coldplay. Coldplay are a massive band that have been around since 1998. They have just resently released their new album, Viva La Vida and they are about to start their UK, where I shall see them in Glasgow in December.
Anyway My show will include information about the band, a Coldplay competition and music from the old and the new albums which some information about that track such as it's chart position.
I know that Coldplay are loved at the BBC Radio Studios so I would be aiming this programme for BBC Radio listeners...possibly more Radio 2 as Coldplay are a band that all ages listen to.
Also in class today Conor briefly went over ETC FM which the radio station my class will be running on the web come February. ETC FM is completely run by the students alone so therefore we have to all have roles within the station. I am looking to be the chair of the station as I have got experience of running Internet Radio stations such as Loud Live Radio.

College Blogging
Hey guys! Sitting in college right now using an imac! How i hate them so much!!!!
We have all sorts of problems this morning trying to use protools. It has been rather funny as it just crashes every time you try to do anything with a piece of audio!
I blame the Macs tho as macs are rubbish :) Since protools is not working we are learning about how to use yukky wordpress. How i also hate wordpress. Today is turning into a day of hate!

Oh and a wee plug for one of my class mates - listen to diamond fm at 8pm tonight and if you can't be arsed listening to that then there is always Off The Chart with is better :)

OTC in the news!
Hey all once again!
Just got a email from one of my fellow superstar DJs on Off The Chart Radio!
Scott Ashworth is doing a 10k run on sunday and he wrote into his local paper and managed to get off the chart mentioned! Nice on scott!

Why is everyone on this planet obsessed with the new game spore?
I was watching a game play video and yawned all the way thru it..well the 10mins I watched before i got so board I turned it off! I can't believe such a pointless game is doing so well? it's a lot of crap if you ask me!
People have said to me that playing The Sims is pointless? Well I think spore is more pointless! If you say sims is pointless and you play spore then quite frankly your a hypocrite in my eyes!
Thank god one person call angus ireland has some sense not to like it!

Time To Blog
Hey guys! It's time for me to start a Blog according to my tutor at college! Suppose he is right, well of course he is, tutors are always right...you could compare them with mothers :) Here we go then! I shall try and keep blogging and updating this space but if I get lazy then just email with a kick up the arse!
